Monday  
4:00 - 6:00 pm Oil & Acrylic – Barbara Mueller (ongoing). Call for supplies. High school students are welcome.  Cost: see below.
7:00 - 9:00 pm Digital Photography for Beginners - 3 wk session with Ann Nermoe.  Students need a digital camera. Call early to sign up for this popular class.  Cost: see below.

9:30am - 12:30 pm

Pastel - with Louise Eaton (ongoing). 4 week session.

1:00 - 4:00 pm

Basic Drawing - with Sherry Egger.  4 week session. Explore the fundamentals of drawing with pencils.  She will touch upon use of colored pencils as well. Cost: see below.

3:30 - 5:00 pm

Children's Art Class - "Exploring Possibilities with Paper" for 3rd grade and older.  Debbie Craig, instructor.  The class will work on collage, artist trading card, altered books and paper beads.  This class meets at the Coast Guard Station Classroom building. Cost: $85members/$90 nonmembers for 6 classes; all supplies included.

Children's Art Class - "Drawing and Painting" for 1st-5th grades. Children will learn the basics skills of drawing through a variety of drawing exercises and lecture, expanding their knowledge. Children will have hands-on work from the class. This class meets at the Coast Guard Station Classroom building. Cost:  $60 member/ $65 nonmember for six classes (supplies included).

Open Studio - Classroom studio is open to Glynn Art members who wish to meet with other artists to draw and paint.  Come and join fellow artists for some fun and learning experience. Free.

Stepping Stone Workshop with Dianne & Colonel Gaddy. Create memories by creating stepping stones for your home. Supplies included. You are encourage to bring personal items to add. Call for directions to workshop location. Cost: $25 for first stepping stone.

Nov. 8, 2008

Sat  9 am - 1 pm

Botany for the Artist - Trish Rugaber, artist and botany professor at Coastal Community College will give an overview of botanical illustration history, observation of plants, and basics of botanical illustration.  All students will draw and paint a final project. Class held at Room 108 Casino. Cost:  $70.  Call for supplies.

Wet in Wet Watercolor Workshop with Bob Fisher. Call for supplies. Go beyond your limits.

Paint a Flower Pot - come and paint a flower pot to celebrate the garden.  Presented by Cary Knapp at the Brunswick Publice Library on Gloucester Street.  Children from 4 and older are welcome. Free.

Gourdgeous Gourd Basket Workshop with Ann Marie Dalis

Wed  1:30 - 4 pm

One Stroke Acrylic Painting with Laurie Shepard. One stroke decorative painting require no previous experience or art training.  Learn the basics of painting, and achieve blending, shading, and highlighting in one stroke. At the end you will be able to complete a project.

Cost: $25 supplies included.

Children's Ornament-Making Tent - presented by artists at Glynn Art Association during the "Art & Sol" 17th Annual Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival at the park in the Pier Village. Free.

Miniature Houses & Dragon Halls and Merry-Go-Round Carousel Horses - Carol Hanneld's miniature houses and "Dragon Hall", and Janis Rodgriguez's carousel hourses cast a spell of holiday charm over the Gallery on Mallery. Workshop encourages children to creat their own miniature gingerbread houses. Cost: $15 per child (supplies included).

Feb. 3, 2009

6 pm - 8:30 pm

Winter Sculpture Class taught by Mary Whitty.  This a 3 weeks course to learn to create a work of art with clay. Students will be exposed to a model to create a sculpture. Cost:

Unless otherwise stated:  Non-Members $95/course, Members $85/course. Many of our classes offer drop-ins at a fee of $20 to $25 per class.
