Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Lucas Properties, LLC and Glynn Art Association.
The ribbon cutting precedes the Opening Reception for The Big Photo Show at 5pm on Thursday, July 1.
 Coastal Photographers' Guild Show The largest local photography exhibit of the year for Glynn County is happening this July. The Big Show represents the best work of the Coastal Photographer's Guild membership. The opening reception is Thursday, July 1 from 5 to 7 PM at Glynn Art Association. Refreshments will be served. The photos are priced for sale and a portion of each sale benefits the Glynn Art Association. The show also features a friendly competition judged by prominent local photographer Harlan Hambright and opening night guests can vote for the "Peoples' Choice Award." The 35 members of the Georgia Artists Guild will exhibit new works in a format of 9x12 and smaller.
This is an excellent opportunity to find new artwork for your home and office, buy wedding and birthday-even holiday gifts.
 gARTenARTpARty - Sunday, November 7 This year's gARTenARTpARTy has a new feature- a tour of artists' studios. Buy a ticket for the evening party and have the opportunity to see eight artists' studios and the new Glynn Art location studios. Tours are from 1-4pm Sunday afternoon and the party from 5-7 PM Sunday evening at the Ace Garden Center. Wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres prepared by Straton Hall Catering and Special Events.
