“The Third Dimension" Opening reception Thursday, October 2nd, from 5-7 pm at the Gallery on Mallery. Pottery, wood-turning, stone, wood and clay sculpture make this show an interesting mix of 3-D art.
Pastel Workshop with Dawn Miller. 3-day event from Oct. 8-10, exploring landscapes and portraiture in pastel.
39th Annual Golden Isles Fine Arts & Crafts Festival - Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12, from 10am-5pm at St. Simons Village Park at the Casino. This year there will be 120 craftsmen and artists in attendance with several food vendors. Glynn Art will feature a children's tent with face painting and easels for the children to paint their interpretation of the island.
Children's Painting Tent - Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12, from 11am-3pm at St. Simons Village Park during the Golden Isles Festival.
Faux Finish Workshop with Judy Norman. 2-day workshop on Oct 15 & 16, teaches techniques faux finishes for furniture and home.

"Went to a Garden Party" show featuring Georgia Coastal Artists Guild show opens Thursday, November 6, featuring paintings of nature, flowers and the garden. Reception from 5-7pm at the Gallery on Mallery. This show features artwork by 35 of the GlynnArt's best two dimensional artists.
Botany for the Artist by artist and botanist, Trish Rugaber, will have a workshop on Nov. 8.
gARTen ART pARTy - Sunday, November 9,
5-7pm. Watch for more information about this fundraising event to be held at the Ace Garden Center.
Watercolor Workshop with Bob Fisher. Nov. 10 & 11. This 2-day workshop will teach you all about wet-in-wet watercolor techniques.
"Paint a Flower Pot" presented by Cary Knapp, on Nov. 15, from 1-3 pm, at the Brunswick Public Library (208 Gloucester St) for children. Parent/guardian is welcome to stay.

Children's Ornament-Making Tent - Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7, from 11am-3pm at St. Simons Village Park during the Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival.
Miniature Houses & Dragon Halls and Merry-Go-Round Carousel Horses - Sunday, December 14, from 2:00 - 3:30 pm, Carol Hanneld's miniature houses and "Dragon Hall", and Janis Rodgriguez's carousel hourses cast a spell of holiday charm over the Gallery on Mallery. Workshop encourages children to create their own miniature gingerbread houses. |
